In addition to read range, the IT5800's key differentiator is its rugged packaging. IP54 rating, impact absorbing, shock resistant housing ensures years of peak performance even in extreme temperatures
Durability is further enhanced by Hand Held Product's core image-based technology. Unlike many other industrial bar code readers, the IT5800 has no moving parts, lowering costly downtime and repairs.
For reading in applications that exhibit high ambient light, the IT5800 can be ordered with an aiming beam, which offers true point and shoot performance without moving laser optics. This option allows the operator to reliably find and scan the code.
