MiniWedge and MiniUSB Magnetic Stripe Reader
Overview: Credit Card Readers (otherwise known as an MSR, a mag stripe or a swipe reader) are essential for accepting credit or debit cards at the POS. Though often referred to as credit card readers, mag stripe readers can read many cards with magnetic stripes, including some driver's licenses, health cards, ID cards and access control cards.
MiniWedge and MiniUSB Models: The MiniWedge and the MiniUSB are designed to read the magnetic stripe data on credit cards, debit cards, drivers' licenses, and I.D. cards with just a swipe.
- Powered by the keyboard, usb or serial port
- Reads magnetic stripes on cards & badges
- Reads driver's licenses and bank cards
- Includes cables and Windows driver
- Works with all software
- Available Colors: Black or Pearl White
Keyboard Emulation Interface: Data is sent as if it were a USB keyboard. Read data can be viewed in applications such as Windows Notepad without requiring additional drivers or application programming.
Human Interface Device (HID) Interface: A developed or modified application is required to communicate with this device. Data will not be seen in applications such as Windows Notepad.
