Built specifically to work in environments where heat and humidity can erode the type on the kitchen order, the SP700 is an ideal solutionThe Star SP700 combines ease of use, high speed, reliability, a tear bar and a compact footprint to provide a value-driven solution. The SP700 is a printer made of a proven technology (Impact Dot matrix) with all the tools that allow you to use it with the latest PC hardware and still using legacy POS software. The SP700 features a swappable communication interface that allows you to upgrade the printer at any time to support USB or Ethernet.
The SP700 was designed to make installation, utilization and maintenance as easy as possible for any user. The SP700 is ready to be used right "out-of-the-box." A CD with WHQL XP®, 2K®, Vista® drivers, Linux and Mac® OSX drivers and documentation is included with the printer, making it ready for operation immediately after purchase.
This fast, two-color printer offers crisp, easy to read type for quick viewing, clamshell design for easy paper loading and an embedded power supply for space efficiency.

The Kitchen Buzzer is designed to connect directly to the RJ11 port on the back of the printer. When a print job is sent to the SP700, the buzzer will sound off. This is beneficial for high noise environments like kitchens to alert cooks that orders have been sent to them. Part Number: BU01-24-A |
