The Zebra LP2824 is a desktop printer which boasts a surprisingly compact footprint without compromising performance or value. This 2 inch print width printer offers a multitude of user-friendly and innovative features, all packed into a small but sturdy double-walled casing. With one-level "undo/redo," this simple label design solution helps you produce custom labels quickly and simply. Barcode Labels & Print Contrast: A scanner reads a barcode by distinguishing the differences
between the bars and spaces.
When printing barcodes you want the spaces to be light colored (highly reflective) and the bars to be dark (less reflective).
The best color combination is black bars on a white background, but other color combinations will
work as long as the contrast between the bars and spaces is adequate.
If the contrast gets too low, the scanner cannot differentiate between the bars and spaces and
therefore, to the scanner at least, the barcode appears to be invisible.
